Zong's Odd-scaled Snake (Achalinus jinggangensis). Another scientific illustration and probably my first somewhat serious attempt at drawing a snake. Man, why do all animals need to have fur, feathers or scales?
Anyway, this is a critically endangered snake with very few references to be found so it might not be perfectly accurate. It's a commission for another fellow student for her diploma thesis. More will come

I have gotten around to looking through your gallery and I must say that your skills have greatly improved. Ha if only I had the patience to draw like that.
