Brac

My first landscape painting from life - hooray! I just returned from Croatia, where I spent two awesome weeks with my school learning about all the marine animals (it was a little tough to learn to recognise all of them, but in the end, most of us managed to pass the test just fine). This is the small bay where we spend time snorcheling and determining our team's taxonomical group (on the Island Brač). We weren't slacking off on the beach all the time, though. We also went on a trip to those mountains you can see in the distance on the picture. The mountain range is called Biokovo and we went to the highest mountain called Sv. Jure. We started our trip from the sea and in a 16-kilometer long trip we went 1762 m high. It was pretty steep and a bit tough, especially because of the burning sun. The temperature was about 37°C. The trip was beautiful, but I really hated the weather
